Open Forest was part of the Exhibition Embracing Cosmologies organized around the Participatory Design Conference 2022. We planted an interactive installation at the Shieldfield Art Works gallery in New Castle.
During the exhibition we organized two experimental walks around the Ouseburn area which was just around the corner from the exhibition space. Locals and conference attendees visited the exhibition and left us some new forest stories for our growing catalog of forest stories. It was fascinating to learn about forest experiences in the middle of this vibrant urban area.
